mksh supports large files, has no limit on array sizes, supports all features of pdksh and some of csh, AT&T ksh, zsh and GNU bash, is compatible with the Bourne shell and POSIX (within limits), and incorporates some other useful builtins and features
mksh can work on most modern Unix-like systems.
