Algol68 r1

In September 1973 the “Revised Report” was adopted by the Working Group, then subsequently approved by the General Assembly of IFIP for publication. Subsequently Algol68 revision 1 became one of the GOST standards in Russia.

In the 1973 revision the syntax was simplified/streamlined and certain features — such as proceduring, gommas and formal bounds — were omitted.
